The design of the Smokey Bear Blanket is based on a Navajo pictorial with sections of the blanket filled with Smokey's friends--a fish, a deer, a butterfly, an Indian girl and a boy in cowboy garb. Other images represent fire prevention and the center space is occupied by Smokey.
The Smokey Bear Hats are embroidered with Smokey's face on the front and "Bear in Mind" on the back.
A portion of the proceeds from these products supports the U.S.D.A. Forest Service.
